Use: For compacting soils, for proctor test, CBR tests, Consolidation tests

Specifications: 

  • 102mm internal diameter(ID) moulds, 
  • 2.5kg weight with 305mm drop, 
  • 152mm ID moulds 
  • 4.5kg weight with 457mm drop. 
  • Standard 51mm hammer. 
  • Automatically counts the number of hammer blows and shuts off when a preset number is reached. 
  • The sample mould indexes to a new position with each count to assure uniform compaction.

  • 51mm round,2.5kg hammer, 
  • Pie-faced hammer for use with 152mm moulds,
